Printers Alley
Printers Alley is a famous alley in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, known for its nightlife and rich history. Located between Third and Fourth Avenues, and running from Union Street to Commerce Street. The alley was once a center for Nashville's printing industry, with offices for The Tennessean and The Nashville Banner. It was also a popular spot for the city's elite, with many saloons, gambling halls, and clubs. The nightclub district in Printers Alley dates back to the 1940s, and is home to many of the city's top performers, including Chet Atkins, Hank Williams, and Jimi Hendrix. Printers Alley is a National Register Historic District.
